Drank the “Kool-aid” 2 plus years ago and haven’t looked back since. I love Bootcamp, I love CrossFit, I love nutrition. I love challenging myself and others to be their very best. Whether it’s to pick up a max weight deadlift, run a 5k or cut out the soda. I am always ready to talk shop – my friends outside of the Bootcamp/CrossFit world sarcastically say I am “mildly” passionate about it. I am a CrossFit Level 1 and USA Weightlifting Certified, experienced trainer of athletes of all abilities in both bootcamp and CrossFit. And have trained clients in several cities around the Southeast including Atlanta, Birmingham and Charlotte. I also love dogs and my Mini (“Pearl”). I learned the kipping pull up before my husband (the other Lewis… listed above). I refuse to write this bio in the third person. See ya in the park!

I am level 1 CrossFit certified and have trained all types, obese to athletic. I went from being a dancer/athlete in college to a chubby adult, and found the remedy in CrossFit. I have run several half marathons and one full. I believe that nutrition is paramount, followed closely by form of movement and intensity. I do not believe that pride has a place in a good training plan. Nutrition plan of choice is Whole9/Whole30, but will not turn down a homemade cookie. Married with furbabies. Hates “can’t” and repeating myself. I rarely don’t have paint on myself, rescue homeless dogs, and on my rest days you’ll find me digging in the dirt.

I enjoy achieving personal goals and want to see others do the same.  A healthy lifestyle isn’t just for the cool kids anymore, and that’s what attracted me to CrossFit.  The exercises differ in scale not in kind, so it’s for everyone from the Navy SEAL to the Housewife.  I got level one certified two years ago because I wanted to improve my personal fitness but the enthusiasm of every instructor and soon-to-be trainer at that certification was contagious and now I want to share it with others!  Not because I feel like I am an expert but because that passion and drive is in everyone…they just may not know it yet.  So lets get out there and run a little, squat, pick things up overhead and run a little more because the purpose for all of this is to prepare for life!
