Guys, let's give a huge congratulations to all our athletes who competed in the Sectionals this weekend. You all made us VERY proud- Jeff, Jayme, Mike, Annie and Chelsea, you all rocked! It was pretty damn impressive watching you guys work your way through this competition.
Congratulations to Chelsea and Jayme who will be advancing to regionals. Chelsea came in 3rd. overall and Jayme was 14th.
Finally, I want to say a big thanks to all our members and our friends at CrossFit Ballantyne for coming out in such big numbers to support these athletes. It meant a lot to me as a trainer to see you guys get behind not just our athletes, but all of the competitors and cheer them on. You all are world class folks and I'm proud to be a member of the same gym as you all.
Here are some pics from the competition. We'll be posting more as we get them.

hey Jeff, I think we did alright; considering the top 25 or so guys were cyborgs, literally, cyborgs!
being half robot is clearly an unfair advantage.
we did good!
Congrats to you all. Way to kick ass and make UCF look good. Nice to see you all set some PRs. Very impressed. Family was in town so couldn't come in person. Wish I could have made it down there. Following it on the phone is not nearly as fun.
Great job this weekend! Sorry I couldn't make it down there but, like Barrett, I had family in town on Saturday and we had some pre-planned stuff Saturday afternoon...not to mention my wife would have shot me if I left her alone with all three kids for the weekend!
Hirst - ice cream and beer sounds like my usual diet anyways (with the addition of pizza and nachos)...let me know if you need someone to drink those beers with...I'd be happy to work on my 12 ounce curls with you...I hear those are great for improving bicep definition.
Just want to echo the comments from the above athletes and say thanks for all the support on behalf of CrossFit Voltage. Even though I can't hear anything during a WOD I know you guys are cheering. Congrats to all who competed and good luck to Chelsea and Jayme
From the Ballantyne crew, great job to all of you who competed! It was awesome to watch and we were proud to be associated with you guys!
Jeff, Jayme, Hirst, Chelsea and Annie - you guys rocked! Watching you all was both inspiring and humbling! I am proud of you all.
Kristen
By the way...Tony and Donnie - you guys are cyborgs (to use Hirst's description)! Truly awesome.
Kristen
I will be putting together the video from the weekend....as soon as I get the hours of footage together, I will let ya'll know where to find it...I'm sure it will find it's way to this site! Great job to all....was truly inspiring...and man, that rope climb was emotionally draining from behind the lens!!
Wanted to say thanks to everyone who came out and supported Tony and I . You guys were awesome really meant alot . love and miss the ultimate crew and it was so great seeing all the ultimate athletes perform so well.
