On the dotcom page today there is a story about Chris Spealer's quest for 100 pull-ups.

I know we have talked about some diet goals people have...but are there any physical ones out there? I am working on two right now
1) 10 MU
2) sub 20min 3mile run

They could be handstand PU, row time, first pull-up, 1000/667 total or really anything...

Peter P, my goal is to stop getting older and hurting myself. I've pulled both hammies and injured both shoulders in the past 6 months. Any suggestions?...I'm thinking about quitting Crossfit and taking up Checkers and Connect4

Jeremy, my goal is mental, but is directly connected to physical results. I am working to up my intensity/to be able to push myself more in each workout. This will hopefully lead to a PR in all WODS that I used to pace myself.
I also want to be able to complete a rxed workout with muscle ups.

Yes- if you haven't watched the Spealer video you should. It hurt me to watch but was invigorating for sure. Also- the ganes site have some video of Games stuff- the hill, Dave doing the DL WOD, etc. Worth watching.
I think any article on Again Faster is a great read. Excellent writing.

Chad, good idea on the connect4 but might I suggest the following as an alternative...it uses more of the components of fitness.

It's the cardboard tube fighting league...on the injury front I would suggest adding lots of stretching and even extra warmup before WODs. There are some good articles on the journal about the elderly that might help.

Jeremy,

My goals are as follows (in no particular order):
1) CF Total of 1040#
2) Sub 5:00 Fran
3) 10k run during an olympic distance tri at 7:00 min/mi pace
4) Beat Tony and Mike in a MetCon

I have some more long term goals too, but these are the more readily obtainable ones.
