Turns out – Tests Show Most Store Honey Isn’t Honey – GASP! Another reason to shop locally! There is a FANTASTIC beekeeper that sells REAL local honey at Atherton Mills, Cloister Honey. You’ll be supporting a local business and getting real-live honey!
Honey is used a lot in Paleo treats – but if you’re buying your honey in a supermarket or from a mass producer, you may not be getting the real thing! If you haven’t jumped on the Paleo train just yet… honey is a great all natural, non-processed (when bought from a reputable source) substitute for all that processed sugar we consume! So next time you’re about to dump that splenda in your coffee – maybe try a little honey instead, just be sure it’s local!

Cloister makes a great honey “whipped” with cinnamon…AWESOME on sweet potatos!
Their whipped honey is soooooo good! I like the chocolate whipped!
I am currently eating a bit of cloister whipped honey on my berries
DEEEEElicious!
Has anyone had creamed honey? To. Die. For.
