Great job on the PT today everyone! Big pats on the back all the way around. You guys have done really, really well this month. I’m proud of your efforts and your results. Today’s PT gives you an idea of how you’ve improved, but think also about your energy levels and how you’re clothes are fitting. Your gains in strength are fantastic. You may not really notice ’til the end of a 4-week session because the changes are gradual. But I notice them every day. Great work. And congratulations on a great first month of bootcamp.

Post those results (day one and day last) in the comments section and show the people of the interwebs, and each other, just how well you’ve done this month. Also, what about those goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the month? Make any progress? Feel free to brag…

Thursday Workout: PT Test. Timed 800m run, max push ups/1 min, max sit ups/1 min, max dips/1 min, max squats/1 min, max plank for time.

    Yay, bootcamp!! I’ve said it before, but I’m a convert – bootcamp is my religion, and Freedom Park is my church :) Never felt so good and I don’t want to give up this great feeling anytime soon. See you in June!

    Squats: Before=32; After=40
    Plank: Before=1:21; After=1:52! (going for over 2 next time)
    Situps: Before=18; After=22 (still slow as hell)
    Tricep Dips: Before=16 non-fac/3 fac; After=24 non-fac

    And the grand finale!
    800m run: Before=4:27; After=3:34!
    Pushups: Before=6 non-fac/11 fac; After=17 non-fac/4 fac (I was aiming for 20 real pushups, but I’ll take 17; and next time I’m going for 25)

    Big goals for next month are to stop being such a slowpoke and push myself just a teeny bit harder, to really work on eating better (but don’t even mention giving up frosted flakes), and to do the weekend homework. 25 real pushups and running an 8:30 mile would be cool, too :) But honestly, I’m hoping not to have to buy another set of clothes!

    okay..here it goes!

    Run: before – 4:10 after 3:39
    Squats : before – 40 after 55
    Plank: before – 2:54 after 4:13
    Sit-ups: before – 37 after 45
    Tricep Dips: before – 38 after – 60
    Push Ups (facilitated/unfacilitated): before – 25/11 after – 37/15

    Awesome month and feeling great! I will miss you guys in June but will make sure I get at least a few bootcamp workouts in while I’m inGreece! :) ) See you guys in July!
