Great workouts this morning at Freedom and Independence. Way to really push it this week, peeps! Three weeks down. What gains have you made? What changes are you noticing? How are those goals you set progressing? Are you drinking enough water? Eating better? Improving some of the things you set out to improve? Post some thoughts.
We’re gearing up for Week 4. Make sure to log some homework assignments this weekend and put some good food in your bodies. You’ve been working very hard and I’m proud of all the great things we’re seeing.
Good luck to any campers participating in the Warrior Dash in GA and any other races this weekend
Four Square with a “1/2 Grinder” in the middle.

I can’t believe 3 weeks are gone already! I never got around to taking my measurements, but I KNOW there’s progress… the amount of progress I’ve made is indirectly proportional the amount I complain… and surely you’ve noticed a lot less whining lately??
But let’s just talk about abs for a second – in week 1, I couldn’t do the row boat thing or the horizontal scissors, but did I do them correctly today? Yes I did! And did Carter notice – yes he did!
And burpees – I don’t like them, but I don’t dread them like I did at the beginning – in fact, I now see them as one of the best exercises ever (don’t get any ideas, Carter, we don’t need anymore burpees!)
Susan and I were talking this morning about how much better we feel now that we’re doing bootcamp. We’re amazed at the difference in our energy level and we both agreed to being exercise “converts.” Who would’ve thought – me, an exercise convert?? I’ve been in denial about the benefits of exercise for a very long time, but no more. Everything about my life is better with consistent, high intensity exercise and that’s the truth.
As for diet… I’m a work in progress. Why would the universe have invented donuts if it didn’t want me to eat them??
Thanks to Lisa for introducing me to bootcamp in April; thanks to Carter for doing such an awesome job running this one; and thanks to all the 5:45a bootcampers for being so much fun to work out with. I’m hooked – see you all in June
Carter, can you post this info on the main page, so the 10AM is in the loop?
ALL BOOTCAMPERS – 5:45 AND 10AM CLASS – let’s toast to a great 4 weeks!
Thursday 5/27 at Kate’s house is a go! Let’s say 7PM. Bring a friend (spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend). Don’t bring anything else…we’ll have food and drinks!
